The Project
As our Sheerwater base is part of the Woking borough, we end up helping a wide variety of homeowners from around the area to get more for their homes. For our most recent project, we fitted a stylish red composite door to a property there.
This particular Woking client had used us multiple times over the years for various window and door repairs, feeling we’ve always been ‘helpful, efficient, quick and a good price’. Previously, a member of our staff had also given them some free advice regarding how to re-glaze a broken window. As a result of all this, they didn’t feel they could go to anyone else to do the job for them, so they got in touch with us to fit a high-performance door to their home.
How we helped
Our Woking client was looking for ‘security, solidity and a smart-looking door’, and this is exactly what they got.
Security and solidity were assured because our composite doors feature a dense timber core, hardwearing GRP skins, advanced locking cylinders and multipoint locks. Thanks to our weathertight installation, their home is totally weatherproof and any draughts are now a thing of the past.
We ensured the exterior of their home also looked very smart thanks to the rich red finish, decorative bevelled glass panels, stylish door knocker and complementary Chrome-finished hardware.
But we didn’t just enhance the exterior of their home; the internal finish of our client’s old door was varnished wood, which made the interior appear dull and dingy. However, the door that we fitted came with a smart white finish on the inside, which made ‘an amazing difference to the lightness of the downstairs overall’. Because of the bevelled glass panels, light levels in their home were improved further too, whilst none of their privacy was lost in the process.
We also suggested to the client about having a lower keyhole for convenience, and this has been a ‘revelation’, allowing them to operate their new door with total ease.
