The Project
Having purchased their property as a new build just over 30 years ago, our client decided the time had come for the existing windows and doors to be updated.
After looking for a local company to do the job, our Woking client chose us because we weren’t pushy. We know that improving your home can be a big decision, and so we never employ pushy sales tactic on our potential clients.
This was a largescale project that involved replacing the front door, a set of French doors and all the windows on the house. uPVC was the material of choice over timber because it is more cost-effective but still offers excellent levels of performance.
How we helped
To begin with, we replaced all the existing windows with our exclusive slimline uPVC windows. As they feature a Window Energy Rating (WER) of A+, our Woking client’s home was made considerably more energy efficient. Rosewood was chosen for their external colour as this matched the colour of their original windows and so they blended in beautifully with the property. However, we coloured the internal part of the windows white for a seamless blend with the interior surroundings too.
For the front door, we fitted one of our Solidor composite doors. Fitted with Ultion locking cylinders and reinforced by a solid timber core, these provide maximum levels of security and thermal efficiency. This ensured our client’s home would be cosy, warm and supremely secure. Rosewood was chosen again for the colour to match the new windows.
Finally, we replaced the old French doors with a set of bifold doors. This modern style of patio door gave the property a contemporary update and ensured our Woking client could stylishly transition between the inside and outside of their property. Thanks to their large proportion of glazing, our client doesn’t have to miss out on any natural light coming into their home either.
